Adventure Medical's lightest purifier, this pocket-sized straw weighs less than 3oz, features a protective cap for the mouthpiece, and comes with a carrying bag.  Simplified water purification with the POD system and UltraCeram® purification technology.  Unlike microfilters that rely on small pore sizes to filter out bacteria and sediment, RapidPure® purifiers combine OpenPore technology for fast flow rates with adsorption (natural magnetic attraction) to remove viruses, bacteria, parasites, sediment, and more. 

The POD purification system has an extended lifespan – up to 75 gallons – and continues to work after being frozen for peace of mind if the temperatures suddenly drop.
